Engineers' World

It is true that every work and profession has its own importance, uniqueness and contribution in maintenance of this Human World. But it's never will be a prejudice to appreciate the contribution of engineers.

Though GOD is one but depending on the need, we are able to see different manifestations of him. Similarly, though basic purpose of engineering is to make this world a better place to live, depending on the type of need it has leashed its different forms.

It all started in the form of Civil Engineering when man started living in colonies instead of woods and started stagnant life at one place instead of leading a nomadic life. Then Mechanical Engineering said Hi! with invention of wheel. Fire was invented leading to Thermal Engineering form. Slowly Chemical Engineering took its form in optimization of materials and substance use. We have to be grateful to GOD for giving us such beautiful brains. Human brain has consistently worked to make our lives better and easier. To make mechanical machines work without human effort Electrical Engineering has descended. Then man started thinking why to work all by himself when there can be a way to make machines work all by themselves. So Automation concept in the form of Computer science and electronics engineering came into existence and made our lives much much easier.

              



In the present day world, advancements are being made in Biotechnology, Robotics etc advanced forms of engineering. World works on concept of neutrality. When there is positive there is negative also. May it be electrical power or Character of human.  With this I meant to say that though several efforts were made to utilize engineering brains for betterment of human lives, their lies other side of it say invention of atomic bombs. Also more the level of sophistication more is the care we need to take. For e.g. there are huge benefits we can take out of Nuclear power but we have to ensure enough safety standards to avoid unnecessary results. Further understanding this with simpler example is usage of plastics. Though plastics have made lives easier, they have very bad afterwards effects to environment. The abusive use of science and technology have devastating effects on environment. We have to note that homo-sapiens is not the only species on the earth. As humans, its our responsibility to see that our inventions and desires don't have adverse effects on the nature or at the least affect the nature in least possible way. It is rightly said in hindi - "sabke sath sabka vikas."

With this I end the post by expressing gratitude to all those souls who have contributed a lot to the engineering field for making the world a better place to live for all beings.
