Learning "The Art of Tackling Problems of GATE Exam" (for Mechanical Engineering Stream students)

Over the past 5 years, in addition to admission into colleges for M.Tech., with more and more PSU's opening their gates wide open for recruitment of Engineer Trainees and Management trainees through the GATE exam, it has become crucial for students to qualify the exam with proper marks based on their goal. 

PRESENT COURSE OVERVIEW:

Never like before, The Engineer's Gurukulam will conduct one week training classes for students from Mechanical engineering stream, where students will be introduced to various "to be noted things about GATE exam". Apart from this, 4 subjects are selected. Each subject will be dealt for one or two days as per scheduled in later part of this post. In each of these subjects, 10-15 typical previous year GATE problems with overview of related concepts and ways of tackling such questions will be explained briefly.


Course Objective: To make student understand the Approach and Mindset to be adopted for attempting GATE exam.

Classes will tentatively be conducted from June 18th to 24th, 2018. Schedule for each day is as follows:

SCHEDULE:

Day 1: Briefing on GATE exam and an overview on section wise preparation requirements of the syllabus

Day 2:  Engineering Mechanics

Day 3: Strength of Materials/ Mechanics of Solids

Day 4: Strength of Materials/ Mechanics of Solids

Day 5: Thermodynamics

Day 6: Thermodynamics

Day 7: Theory of Machines

Classes will be conducted on the course days  from 6 pm to 8:00 pm. (Exception: On Sunday -24th June Class will be conducted from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm)

Student needs to send their details (Student's Name, College, Present year/semester of study, Contact number) to Mail ID: sriravikiran.akella@gmail.com on or before 13th June 2018.


COURSE FEE AND PAYMENT DETAILS:

Total Fee: 1500/- (The Account details will be sent to those registered via mail)

Advance Payment to be made for seat booking: Rs. 150
For attending class on Day 1 an advance payment of Rs 150 is to be made on or before 15th June 2018.

Balance fee payment: Rs. 1350
If student wishes to continue for the remaining course, he/she shall make the remaining payment on or before Day 3 of the course (i.e 20th June 2018)


MATERIAL THAT WILL BE PROVIDED:

In addition to the problems that will be discussed during the course, for practicing students will be provided with a soft copy of 20 previous GATE select questions with key, from each of the subjects mentioned in the course. We will be available for solutions and clarification for those questions till 27th June 2018 (up-to 3 extra days after the closure of course).
